Stopped by here while staying at a hotel nearby and was looking for a place to hang out with music on a Saturday evening. It is not fancy, they were out of several things but the bartender/waitress was very friendly and helpful. She gets 4 stars. The food was good…some things better than others. Didn’t care for the banana pudding. It really didn’t taste like banana at all and we ended up not eating it. The pork was good, the smoked chicken was kind of dry but the barbecue sauce helped.

Came with a friend for lunch. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious as always. I tried the chicken nachos today… Freaking DIVINE!!! Friend had a stuffed potato and enjoyed as well. Im a fan of the chicken sandwich and potato salad, too. Can’t go wrong!

Wife wanted a good sandwich & saw Moe’s while picking up a door dash. Very disappointed!! Out of the fried chips & fried pickles. The pulled pork sandwich lacked salt (like no salt) , no slaw was on it, lacked sauce, was given wrong side then when corrected the banana pudding lacked bananas like none and had 1 cookie on it. Mac & cheese lacked flavor and really looked old. Lunch sandwich meal was 13 and I really need 10 bucks back. Moe’s gotta do better to be judging others on TV. Not worth it

Terrible food. Avoid at all costs. Worst wings I have ever had. Dry as could be – as someone who makes their own smoked chicken I wonder to myself how anyone could make wings this dry. Literally like jerky. Hostess asked if I wanted something else, I declined and threw away my barely eaten meal and ate at a different nearby restaurant. Figured if they messed up something that badly I didn’t want anything else on offer. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I can’t recommend this place at all.

The wings are incredible…. But the nachos are on another level!!!! Dinning with someone, I recommend splitting the nachos and wings!

It’s not bad. I felt the wings were better than the pulled pork. Decent portions. Also had the banana pudding just because. Also ok. Food was ready reasonably fast. They were playing a trivia game that was surprisingly easy but all the cool kids were having fun with it so that was entertaining. Music selection was good. Was disappointed they were out potatoes and salad and a couple other sides.

I think the food is a tad bit expensive, but I love it!! I usually get their wings. The ribs and smoked turkey are good too. Sides rotate, can be iffy, but overall good. Fun fact: They serve awesome (frozen pre-mixed) BUSHWHACKERS!!

Excellent BBQ, enjoyed the pinto beans (ordered the butter beans) and the collard greens. Don’t tip 15% when you order – you pick up and clean your own plates. Oh well, I hope that staff gets it, at least. Atmosphere is casual and they do have ‘live music’ sometimes (pretty sure it’s just 1 dude playing guitar based on the stage size). Get take out unless you want to hang out around the area, which is actually nice.

Moe’s in Providence is a great place for a meal if you are just spending a casual afternoon in the area. It does become busy during the weekends when the ballgames are on. So if you and your friends want to sit around and enjoy the game it is a great place. But if you prefer something a little more quite it may not be the best fit for you. The food is pretty good. The catfish (boneless fillets) are nice for the amount you receive though they do not have that seafood based restaurant catfish taste. The slaw is a tad to sweet for my taste but the beans are great, same with the mac and cheese. All said and done it is a place you probably would come back to every few weekends.
