Great pastries that are a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. We spent our monthly brunch club here and had a taste of the case, sampling almost every pastry they had to offer. Not a single one disappointed. The service was as good as the food. Our server was attentive, patient and pleasant. Great location in the heart of 12 South. I had the 12 South Scramble and Strawberry Matcha (iced) and was more than pleased. Portion sizes were plenty and flavor was on point.

The interior is very cool and the food is your regular brunch far but very flavorful and creative at the same time. The croissants looked great but I did not get a chance to grab any because it was insanely crowded on a Saturday morning. If you get there early you won’t have to wait in line and if you want to you can add yourself to the online waitlist to save some time. They were rushing us a little bit I felt as it was a bit crowded which I was not a fan of. But overall amazing brunch option and plenty of stops nearby to make after to walk off the heavy food!

Absolutely incredible. The french press was the best I’ve ever had. The benedict was superb. The croissants were different from what I am used to in a good way (not usually a big fan of croissants but these were pretty good). The service was excellent and the atmosphere was so so nice. I would highly reccomend.

The Ambiance was Amazing ! I will say it was all Fan-tabulous. There was a Wait but it was very much worth it as you can order from the front counter while you wait, like coffee or pastry. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations according to what you was having a taste for. I will be back.

We walked right in (no wait) on a Friday morning around 9:30. The menu has an abundance of excellent savory and sweet options. The food was as delicious as described. Our server Taylor was attentive and quick. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Nashville. The Butter Milk Ranch has dethroned our usual favorite.

I went once during the week and it was quiet and steady but not overwhelmingly busy. I just went again mid morning on Saturday and it was really crowded. I used the feature online to skip the wait by adding bc my name to the waitlist when we were on our way so we only waited a few minutes when we got there. If you don’t mind the noise and crowds then go anytime but if that makes you uncomfortable then go during the week.

My pastry connoisseur friends and I have lived near Nashville and been on the hunt for excellent European style pasties for going on 10 years…. Buttermilk Ranch is it! Everything we tried was exquisite. The house made pastries, jams, jellies, caramels, drizzle… coffee and Wagua Steak Avocado Toast… Mmm! Blew us away! The atmosphere and service were extraordinary too. The energy in the room and experience were amazing. Taylor took such great care of us. You can just feel when everyone in the room is thrilled to be there. We can’t wait to go back and hope Taylor will be there to take care of us again. Cheers!

Went here because of the Vanderbilt celiac clinic recommending it for having several gluten-free options. True, there were several options but only one kind of gluten-free bread, which was foccacia. No pancakes, no other bread. They had cookies but who wants that for breakfast. The omelette I had was very greasy but good. If you can eat the croissants, I heard they were done very well. Just disappointed that there weren’t more bakery options for me.

Nice restaurant setup. Seating is very tight, but not unusual for a diner. Staff is wonderful. Owner has these amazing books for children that we purchased. Food was acceptable, but the value was shocking. The ham and cheese omelette pictures was $16 and the plain buttermilk pancakes were $15 ($31 total). As a diner, the value just did not seem reasonable considering the taste and quality. Would love to continue supporting this great restaurant and staff, but the lack of value makes it difficult to stomach.

A very cute and aesthetically pleasing brunch spot in 12 South. It’s a very popular place so be prepared to wait. We walked around to the surrounding shops while we waited.
