During our search for a place to eat, my wife and I decided to give KAPATAD Filipino restaurant a try. We had heard rumors that their food was truly authentic. Plus, my wife had been longing to have lunch there for quite some time. I ordered Beef Kare-Kare, combination Lo mein with shrimp, and, of course, crispy pata.

Upset they dont do direct delivery to my neighborhood Balcones woods just 10 minutes away off 183 but I ordered delivery through a third party to try them out and BOY AM I GLAD- as a pinoy american this really hit the SPOT.

Delayed review. It used to be a different restaurant that we always order during lunch time at the office. Now they kept some previous signature dishes and adding on the Filipino specialty. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful. I’ve been here several time with friends and family, as well with coworkers during workdays. Dining in or take out are fast service, great portion and reasonable price. Definitely recommend and support local business!

First time here. Mother’s day and they were very accommodating. Very friendly staff and very attentive to what we needed. I will definitely be back and suggest to others. Food is very good. First time I’ve ever had a good adobo!!

Authentic and delicious Filipino food! Really love their pork belly, which is super crispy and not too salty. The adobo was great too!

Delicious food and a clean, relaxing atmosphere. We had chicken adobo, kare kare, and halo halo, but I only remembered to take photos once we got to dessert

Crispy Pata. One would expect the skin portion of the pork is crunchy. But not at Kapatad. You get the “pata” alright without the “crispy.” Their kare-kare, has an unusual after taste. The pancit-bihon mixed with soggy vegies is not that appetizing either. It was my second visit to Kapatad but the experience turned out just like the first. There won’t be a third.
