I highly recommend Basket Case Crabs for your seafood needs! The crabs we got were big and full and at a great price. We also got a very delicious crab pretzel and crab mac salad. Very friendly owners and just an all around great place! We’ll definitely be back.

This is the finest crab shack in Maryland, possibly the world hands down. The owners are so hospitable and friendly and wonderful. I have never been to a more fantastic crab shack. Home made seasoning on the crab, shrimp as big as I’ve ever seen and the meatiest jumbo soft shells around. Thank you for the best crab experience ever 🙂

Usually when you spend $82. a dozen for large males, you get large males. That’s not the case here. You actually get 13 sparsely seasoned, barely legal crabs, with very little taste, and hardly any weight. What a rip off. They definitely aren’t worth it!

Horrible customer service. Called 2 days prior to Mothers Day for crabs. Rude staff on phone. I called several times to inquire about the availability of crabs. Each time i was instructed to call back. No problem, I understand they have to check their stock. I was instructed to call back about every 30 mins 4 times. Each time they answered, again they told me to call back, they became irritated with me. I guess they are inconvenienced with customers calling to do business with them. Finally they asked me to call back in the morning. A gentleman answered, on speaker phone, sounded like he was at end of hallway could not understand him. I explained I couldnt understand that he sounded far away. He hung up on me. Called back. They never answered. I will not be doing business with them again. Horrible customer service. They treat you like you are inconveniencing them.

I absolutely love this place ! I order a pound of shrimp every Saturday , and I’m never disappointed ! I have also had some of there sandwiches also very delicious . I must say my favorite thing there is there soft shell crabs , always fresh and super full, thank you for bringing a great crab shack into conowingo !

We would easily pay $35 for a dozen of their shrimp in a fine restaurant. We each had our own pound of pink goodness, 16-20 per pound on New Year’s Eve 2018 and Wow!!
