What a great find! The food was super tasty, especially the lobster bisque! The views were incredible, and such a quaint restaurant vibe! Our server Sophie was so incredibly nice and accommodating, moving us outside when a table became available and brining us blankets since it was a little chilly. Will definitely be back if we are back in the area

Looked for some food in the area and there isn’t many options. Saw this “off the beaten path”. Sooo happy we did! The food was very good! We were very happy we came. The views are fantastic. Only downfall is no air conditioning. Would defiantly recommend!

I’ve been coming here spring, summer, and fall for like a decade now and it just keeps getting better. Lively lodge in Maine’s North Woods with many terrific Maine draft beers and pretty good cocktails and wine. Delicious bar food with things like smash burger, grilled chicken sandwiches, and tacos; as well as fine dining with featured specials and great regular offerings including very affordably priced steak and seafood dishes. It can get busy on weekend nights but it’s worth waiting for, as the whole facility and grounds are a very pleasant place to spend time.

Came here twice (lunch and dinner) July 2023. Really very good food, charming and professional service, lovely surroundings, spotless facilities – Not a single complaint! Would return in a heartbeat.

We made reservations for the fish fry and when we arrived we were seated. The restaurant was beautiful. It was busy. The waitress asked us what we wanted to drink and then took our order. There was a large party being setup near us. We got our food and the fish was dry and had a really thick fried batter on it. Way to thick in our opinion. The waitress asked if we wanted anymore fish and we both replied yes and two to go boxes. The large party came in and the waitress took care of them. She came back with one piece of fish not one for each of us. So she went back and put the order in. When she came back, she brought the fish and forgot the to go boxes. She never asked us if we needed any more drinks. We have been here three times before. This visit was a disappointment.

Our food took forever (over an hour) to be served. All we ordered were a burger and a salmon sandwich. Server didn’t check on us until I got up and walked over to ask where our food was. Nice place, once the food was served it was delish, but will never come back due to the service.

Go to this place for the incredible views. Food was good – standard – and they were accommodating of my gluten allergy. They had gluten free buns if you wanted them. The Caesar salad was good, the blackened salmon sandwich was good, the queso for the nachos was amazing. Even better, the sunset views.

The smash burger was honestly the best burger I’ve ever had. We also got the seasonal fiddlehead soup which was delicious. Great view of the lake and garden if you sit outside. 10/10

I love this place. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is visiting Baxter State Park or Maine. I am sure we will be back again with my company. I think the chef knows the balance of taste. And my server, Brittney, was doing excellent for us.
