Craving for momos satisfied. If I were to recommend one Indian restaurant in Denver, it would be this. We ordered the dal tadka and aloo methi and they are just too good. Finger licking delicious. Good portion sizes, reasonable prices. They have 7 spice levels, so choose well. We ordered level 2.

Ordering chicken tikka masala from Himchuli is a cherished weekend treat of mine. You can choose the level of spice desired, although I like it mild. As a special note on the service, a few months back I ordered brown rice and was mistakenly given white. The manager was kind enough to drive back out to my house to correct the mistake. That isn’t just great service- but it is also respect. I will continue to come to Himchuli and highly recommend.

This was one of the last stops we had while in Denver and it was…good. The food had that authentic flavor and had a great feel. The bathrooms are not well lit and I had to use my cell phone for a light while in there. The food tasted great and the waiter was very kind. They had a buffet but it looked like it had been there for a while. The naan bread was amazing and packed full of the garlic flavor we ended up ordering another one for the ride home!

Himchuli serves up dishes that are full of flavor. We ordered the chicken Vindaloo which normally comes extra spicy. We asked for medium spice. We also ordered Rogan Josh medium spicy.

My Chicken Tikka Masala was literally yellow, not the usually reddish color. Zero flavor tasted like straight cream or whatever dairy they were using for it.

Literally one of the best not just Indian cuisine but food in general. My husband and I are vegan and there are so many options! We love spicy food and it hits the spot every time. The samosas are excellent to start out with! I get so excited to try something new every time! It’s so authentic and has never disappointed! The owner is from Nepal and has stopped by our table every time we are in just to check in on our experience. If you want to support a small business while having out of this world food- you have to check this place out!

True medium spice, it’s rare to find a place whose medium is has a little kick while being able to taste the flavors of the dish. Chicken tikka masala is great, the chicken curry is perfect. The chicken is very well done and the seasoning has a natural kick and is so good. Only thing is sometimes the papadums are not cooked completely or have gotten moist so they aren’t crunchy. They’re very nice about it though and will bring a fresh plate out.

Superb Indian food – iced chai tea made from scratch, Dal soup, samosa chat, matar paneer made to order and served piping hot, fresh hot garlic naan and tasty mango chutney. Our lunch was fresh, hot, and spiced to my taste. Seating is available inside and out, and the service off both prompt and gracious.

I love this restaurant. It’s in a cute neighborhood, and is the type of place where the owner works the bar. They are always friendly and the food is authentic and very good. Their lunch special is great.
