Cornbread was burnt. And y’all wrong for serving it like that. Makes you question the rest of the food tbh in retrospect. I had the gravy pork loin as pictured. Presentation and thickness of the gravy was unappealing but it def tasted good. Other plate pictured looked a lot better presentationwise.

All the food I ate here was excellent. I’ll be coming back on a different day to try other veggies. Looking forward to trying a soup and sandwich too. I like that the desserts are baked in-house and at a local bakery.

1st timer. The pork roast. omg I need to be in the kitchen with thus chef for lessons please. Perfect tenderness, texture and major surprise was the seasoning. Way above my expectation. Rice should automatically come with the meat, that’s the only thing…it doesn’t. Cornbread is not going 2 b a repeat item for me but the squash Mac n cheese n pork roast was amazing!

Here’s the thing: it’s convenient to my house. The food isn’t bad. We tried their baked chicken, Mac n cheese, creamed corn, chicken salad sandwich, collard greens, strawberry shortcake, and banana pudding. They forgot the chips that went with the sandwich. I would get the Mac n cheese, the banana pudding and the chicken salad sandwich again. I’ll have to try other things. I want to like them a lot. They had a very friendly team working and, again, the food isn’t bad. I just didn’t have anything better than what I make at home. So, for me, I would order from here on those days I just can’t make myself cook. They have some healthier options on their menu, which is great.

I love Cracker Barrel, however, I would never say that it satisfies my desire for real southern Georgia home cooking. Always Fresh Neighborhood Restaurant turns food out of their kitchen that tastes JUST like every Christmas, Thanksgiving and spring family reunion all at one time. I LOVE this precious little place! Bonus, you can call ahead of time and drive right up to the window!
