I always look for authentic barbacoa and rarely find it. This place had it. I only wish they would have sold it by the pound or something because I wanted about a quart size container to take home. My wife said the menudo was good also, that it hitbthe spot.

We stopped here on our way to Fredericksburg. There was only one lady doing it all. Taking orders, cooking, checking on other tables, etc. I didn’t liked the chilaquiles, but my friend loved his torta. It took forever since she was doing it all. Felt bad for her and that’s why we didn’t complaint. But I wouldn’t go back!

I was based in Yuma Az. for 7 years and am pretty picky with Mexican food. Their tacos reminded me of the great tacos I use to get walking the streets of the those Mexican border towns and they have great prices too! Has definitely taken over as my favorite mexican food restaurant in town!
