Steak was a little fatty but ok. My Italian sub didn’t have enough meat on it in my opinion and wasn’t cooked enough. The french fries were discolored from dirty cooking oil and not at all hot or fresh. The front dining area was dirty and boring, no attempt at style or decor.

Took FOREVER to get our food. Baked potato was cold & hollow & wouldn’t even melt the butter. Steak was good, salad was lame – 1 cherry tomato. Sweet potato was ok, needed more butter. Fries were a waste of money. Mac & cheese bites were ok. I asked for lemon in my water – no lemon. My husband asked for a refill, nope. Waitress said, she has done this for 35 years & couldn’t keep up. There might have been 40 people in the place, 3 waitresses, a server, a lady who seated you & wiped down tables. Unless the waitresses were also cooking the food, it was just an excuse. Won’t go back there.

Had a good time eating here for lunch. I had the Italian sub and fries and my fiancé got the grilled cheese Philly steak sandwich with tomato soup. Both were very good we will be back. This time will try for dinner.

We went to the Van Wert location on Saturday evening. It was our first time there. It wasn’t very busy. Walked in and was seated right away. We ordered mushrooms for an appetizer.. Delicious! I had a sirloin.. Cooked perfectly and a baked potato, which was great. The side salad wasn’t anything special.. Cheese and a cherry tomato. But, the best part of the experience was our server, Kaitlyn (spelling?). She was amazing. She was very attentive and really made sure we were enjoying our dinner. It’s nice to know good servers are still out there, making sure customers are having a great dinner experience!

The first time we went, it was a lackluster experience. The waitress didn’t give off good vibes, and the food was just O.K. She gave off the feeling that she didn’t care about her job, nor did she want to be there.

Waited over 20 min at table with no attention, no drinks, just waiting. Once we had a waitress, she did a good job. Food was just ok, ribs were tender but sauce was very ketchupy. Overall, nice place, but could use better initial attention to customers and tweak some of the food.

This is the new location, and it was awful!! The service was bad and the food was nasty! My chicken Alfredo was like soup, tasted like milk water… I miss the old place!! Bathrooms disgusting!! I DO NOT recommend the “New” Black Angus.

Was seriously disappointed. Ordered dinner for take out and they told me it’d be ready in an hour (not a big deal as I know restaurants and the kitchen can get busy) up on arrival I had to wait another 35 min to pick up my food just to get home and find further disappointment with a raw steak. I ordered medium rare and this was simply quick seared and still raw throughout. Sadly this is the third time I’ve gone and my steak hasn’t been made correctly once. I’ve tried ordering it medium to compensate for it but then I get well done so at this point I’ll stick to cooking at home.

We were 6 adults and 1 child and I was asked where we could go for good steak and I suggested The “Black Angus” and told them of our positive experience from when were there the first of June so we went again and had GREAT (STEAKS) Ribeyes & Sirloins! The rest of the Food was great too and service was awesome!! Thank you all for doing a great job getting us served and out in a timely fashion…
