We live in the area and eat at Mac’s on at least a monthly basis. We have always enjoyed our experience and yesterday was no exception. Our waiter, Alex, was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak and my wife had the pork chops. The salads and the desert (apple cobbler) were excellent as well. Overall we had a 5 star experience.

This was the 3rd visit to Mac’s and the last. Filet not the nice thick cut it usually is, ordered Med and served med. Rare. One person ordered a NY strip med rare and it turned out to be a rib eye, med. 3 salads were served in one big bowl of lettuce at $3.50@. Wild rice is a blend Not pure wild rice.. Reservations were made for a birthday and that was not passed on to the server. Restaurant was not busy so no excuse for this type of service. After I wrote on the restaurant contact page and hit submit and error popped up that it could not be processed. HUMMM maybe they don’t want to know how people feel about this steak house!
