If you really need some chicken and you’re in Slabtown, this is the spot. It’s pretty good and the drinks look nice, but some of the food is kind of missing the wow factor. Overall the plates look very nice but for us, it felt like it was not executed to the level we hoped it would be.

Had the full bird, grilled herb potatoes, and the grilled oyster mushrooms. Food was incredible, best grilled chicken I’ve ever had. All the sauces were great, you can’t go wrong. Root beer on top was also great. Great vibes. Food took a little while, but honestly we’ll worth the wait. Highly recommend.

The best chicken in PDX, maybe ever! I love coming to Mama Bird so much. The environment is upscale while still being casual and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fantastic. Especially the potatoes! I have dozens of photos of this exact meal on my phone *no shame*

Best meal we had while in Portland for the week! Sweet potatoes were a delicacy. So much so, we fought over the last piece. Once I tasted the wood fire chicken, I took a pass on dipping it in the sauces. Fun watching the food prep from our table. We felt it was a good value for what we got. I wished we lived closer.

The food is amazing! The staff is outstanding. Thought and care is put into every aspect of the restaurant. I have never had chicken that juicy!
