The only reason why this shop is still operational is because of the endless line right next door at Ramen Nagi.

Food was expensive and not too great. Popcorn chicken lacked flavors and not tender enough. Scanty quantity. Napkins were nowhere in sight and you had to ask for it and they were cheap in providing, making you wonder why you pay tips to begin with when service sucks. Very cramped space, uncomfortable to sit. Apathetic worker. Overall depressing vibe…

The portions here are pretty decent compared to the price. So here you can get for sure a protein rich meal. The chicken was soft, and it felt quite similar to a home made chicken, light and filling. The chicken broth was also a super good combination with the meal, especially in the winter time. Highly recommend!

The store doesn’t have many people yet we waited 15 minutes for our food. I ordered chicken with skin but it came with no skin. I requested for a new one with skin, they only gave me a few pieces of skin on top. Do you understand that there is a vast difference in the taste of chicken with skin and chicken with no skin? I will never ever come back!

Located in the Valley Fair mall, next to Ramen Nagi and all the other new food places that recently popped up. I was thinking to get some ramen but the line was too long 🙂

For a place that focuses on chicken dishes, the (non-fried) chicken served here is really dry, and the portion is just average. The cashier on duty when we came, was really rude and the food took a while to come out. There are way tastier options available at the mall with friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

This isn’t the best Hainan chicken rice spot in the area. I think Chicken Meets Rice is better because they offer more chicken types and sauce options.

The food was surprisingly light but filling, it’s nice to have a non-fried menu staple! The chicken was moist and tender. But the best part of the meal was the amazing chicken rice, I couldn’t get enough!
