N.C. BBQ made with turkey? I said, “Whatchu talking ’bout Willis?” I was surprised it was very good. He’s got the seasoning right. Hushpuppies were on the money. He’s providing a healthy alternative to pork. The portions are generous.

The food is ridiculously good… almost fell into a nice food coma afterwards. Turkey BBQ was moist and tender (got a sneak peak at the slow cooking process, literally fall off the bone perfection), mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the beans hit the spot. Service was equally as good; the young lady working the register was eager to serve, down to earth and pleasant… great place, it’s like eating a great meal with old friends… definitely going back!

Loved it!! The Eastern NC sauce was spot on and delicious on the perfectly smoked turkey. The baked beans were insane, and the mac-and-cheese was so good that I had to smack my wife’s fork away from it!! Doug offered a sample of the bbq turkey and beans… and that was that. The search for lunch was over. Amazing food, a little pricey but I’m not left hungry at all. This is just good food. Highly recommend they add a turkey sausage to the menu!
