Attention all Chicken Scarpariello lovers out there, If you love this dish like I do and you haven’t had it at Steve’s piccola bussola in Hauppauge……. THEN SOMETHING REALLY WRONG IS GOING ON HERE! I’m telling you people that sauce will make you do crazy things! After I finished the chicken I started dipping Italian bread after that I moved on to my kids leftover macaroni and put the sauce on that. Eventually I ran out of stuff at the dinner table and ran to the pantry and found some crackers! If you wanna live like a Rockstar do what I do order off the bone white meat and if you wanna walk on the wild side order campagnola style comes on the bone added sausage peppers onions mushrooms & potatoes and remember you have the option to do off bone! Either way you will be very happy! If you don’t know now you know!!!

They shorted me on my take out order. Paid extra for full order and they gave me a single order. When I called the guy that answered the phone said “We’ll give you a complimentary bottle of wine next time”. I told him I don’t want wine, I want the rest of what I paid for. He tell’s me “don’t worry, we’ll take care of you next time.” I told them they’ll be no next time and hung up.

For years I’d heard this place was good, but from the looks of the immediate area and the outside it was never a priority…. What a mistake! THIS PLACE IS A DELICIOUS GEM!!! Ordered two appetizers and they were SICK: stuffed artichoke (wowser that was incredible) and the Burrata (simply best ever)….. main dish had yummy, yummy meatballs…. Service was incredible. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’m watching three customers, obviously regulars, HUG a three separate waitstaff….super impressed.
