Very good food. The hush puppies were fantastic. Fried chicken had great taste and crisp. Meat loff was awesome, and the brown gravy was on point. Very small dining area in side just two tables. There are lots of tables outside, though. The bathroom is very small but neat and clean. Have no problem going back.

I was in town visiting and had to see what the awesome reviews were about..When I walked in,I got an instant vibe of FAMILY . The service was hands down comforting and absolutely welcoming. The food was like OMFG . I had smothered pork chops, yellow rice,yams,greens and corn bread.I ate off of my plate for 2 days!! Feels like eating a good meal from your granny’s house! I planned on making a pit stop on my way out,but didn’t have time. BUT BEST BELIEVE..I know where to go the next time.

I was visiting Daytona Beach and decided to see if any of the pre-pandemic spots were still open, I didn’t find them. I spotted Kinfolks and after looking over the reviews decided to give me a try and boy am glade I did! I ordered ox tails in gravy, saffron rice, yams and collard greens…..so damn good!

Chicken gizzards and ox tails were the bombs!! Tossed with a lot of lime and seasoning. Hats off to the head chef and his woman and cousin. Good people. Cabbage, yellow rice and hush puppies were fresh, great sides. Thank you bro❤️

Kinfolks is located across the street from Bethune Grill. We stopped by due to the long wait for wings. The menu offered lots of your southern favorites. It didn’t take long to place the orders, but it took a while to get some of the food. I ordered the turkey subs with yellow rice, sweet potatoes and collared greens. I received mac and cheese over the sweet potatoes and when attempting to have it corrected was met with a little push back. What I ordered was on the receipt. What I received was not. After a minute, they gave me the sweet potatoes.

I Visited Daytona Today & Went To This Restaurant & Was Extremely Disappointed…I Got Oxtails , White Rice , Mac & Cheese , Yams & Cornbread & A Slice Of Red Velvet Cake! The Rice Was Gummy(Over-Cooked) The Oxtails Was Under Seasoned But Very Tender , The Gravy Had An Terrible Aftertaste, The Mac & Cheese & Yams Was Okay…The Red Velvet Was Dry & I’m Thinking The Worst Box Cake I’ve Ever Had‼️ I Will NEVER EVER Eat At This Restaurant Again, Nice Atmosphere & Great Customer Service The Food Is A BIG NO For Me‼️

It was dirty, all the food was gross. I decided to go there instead of Bethune Grill worst mistake of my life!!! The macaroni had no cheese, the garlic wings had no seasoning, the hot wings were definitely not hot, the greens tasted like boiled hot water. I will never go back there again and my bill was $50 I would not recommend wasting your money. I literally threw the food out and went to Krystal’s no cap!!! I have no idea how they have 4 stars. I was so disappointed.

DELICIOUS soul food. I got the collared greens and candied yams… chefs kiss. The collared greens got devoured yams were deliciously sweet; I ordered a dessert with my take out and ALMOST saved it for later after the yams, but the peach cobbler was calling to me. glad it did, it’s delicious too friendly people, great food!

I came to this place while I was visiting on vacation me my husband. We found this restaurant not too far from the strip in Daytona .This was the best restaurant that I went to while I was visiting. Great customer service food was great ,nice portions and the top it off the best lemonade, I ever tasted The homemade honey bun cake. Just say I’m trying to see if they can send that to me in the mail, all the way to Indiana . This was the best place hands down ,if you ever visit Daytona go visit this place. I had to go again the next day to get another piece of cake and lemonade. Thanks Irvin , Kevin and Zi you guys were great.
