Had been wanting to try this place for a few weeks now. 100% glad I did. Having lived in SW Arizona for a time, I have pretty high expectations for this type of food. They nailed it. I tried an asada quesadilla (which is frequently done poorly at restaurants) and the baja fish taco. Both were superb. Quality protein, cheese and the tortillas looked house made. Ill include a shot of my to-go order but leaving out a pic of the taco. Not because it wasn’t delish, but because I dropped the box upside down ruining the presentation. Very excited to go back here and try everything. PRO-TIP, if you are trying to get back on 131 North and its busy, go back to the road behind the restaurant and travel to the light.

I stopped here after driving through town on my way to Kalamazoo to drop off a friend. He recommended that I stop and get some food on my way out of town even though it would then be out of my way a few minutes. He said it would be worth it and I’m glad I stopped! While very nondescript on the outside except for the sign the inside was bright and pleasant! The staff all greeted me and were helpful in assisting with my order. The time that I arrived was during the Siesta Menu, which is limited to just street tacos and sides, was early afternoon. There were a couple other people who had also just walked in. I ordered the Baja Fish taco and 2 asada and 2 cochinita tacos. Cooked to order, it took maybe 10 minutes to get my food. I got it to go and left. These things were delicious! The fish taco was excellent, the slaw was crisp and not overpowering, sauce was just enough and the fish was crisp and freshly fried! Which is fantastic because normally the fish tacos I’ve had in the past leave something to be desired..

The building is small and cozy. It was clean, well decorated, and welcoming. The one bad thing I have to say is the temperature was pretty low. I comfortably wore my coat through my entire meal and was still a little chilly. Aside from that one flaw, this place is great. The staff was friendly and confident. The food was incredible. A few simple ingredients all put together well and presented beautifully. I wasn’t very hungry going in, but I couldn’t stop after one bite. I cannot express how delicious their food is. Highly recommended.

I am giving a three star because my NT siesta taco was super salty and swimming in grease. Not very appetizing. My husband had a chicken street taco and it was very flavorful.

Decor was nice. Prices were reasonable for the amount of meat you receive on your tacos. It was taco Tuesday so I tried a couple hard shell tacos. I also got the NT taco with the parmesan dusted tortilla. The flavor was mediocre. The salsas were good. It is better than taco Bell so I will stop again. Just not the best taco or the worst I’ve had.

We stopped by to check this place out on our way out of town today. The Carne Asada Tacos has a very good flavor and the Steak Burrito was good as well. The $1 Taco Tuesday Tacos were ok. The presentation was great but the beef needed to be flavored a bit more. However with that said they were still good tacos. The service was great. Both Nonla team members were very attentive to me and my questions. I’ll definitely come back for another visit and see if they can raise my 4 star to a 5 star rating!
