Fantastic hole in the wall place! The staff was all very friendly and very helpful in making recommendations on what to order and how much would be enough for our group. The food was all delicious too, and if you get a chance to get the Mango agua fresca (made in-house), then definitely grab it – it’s not too sweet and just perfect!

Customer service is horrible. When my family and I arrived a girl that was behind the register was not welcoming not all. Instead of greeting us upon arrival she told us to wait outside instead of blocking the entrance. Mind you we were the only ones there and we had just stepped in. Furthermore, she still had the audacity to tell my daughter to check her mother and that I had an attitude. Very ghetto girl!!! Will not give them any of my money instead went elsewhere to eat! I know her ugly attitude does not represent the Oaxacan culture.

Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had that really encapsulate authentic Mexican cuisine! Took my family of 8 here and they are all from Mexico City, they all thought the food tasted like home. With the rice being a beautiful highlight! For our first time being here, this place is now a forever stop when we’re in Salinas. The mole is spicy but so so so so good. One of the best moles I’ve had and we’re coming from Los Angeles! Muchas Gracias culturas Hidalgo y Oaxaca!

This small restaurant offers quite a number of Mexican specialties that are both delicious and hard to find. This includes huaraches (with tinga!), tlayudas, pastes, picaditas and tlacoyos. You should try them all.

Very authentic and tasty food with friendly service. Was so happy to get a chance to try chicken tinga, and also enjoyed several other dishes I can’t spell. If you go conventional with a burrito, be prepared for a big one. It’s also nice that they provide something on the table that’s not tortilla chips… some kind of pretty, flat puffy wheels made from wheat flour. Only disappointment was the chicken legs in the mole, would have preferred white meat.
