It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Never been to a more rude Whataburger, this guy in the picture, walking angry, was yelling at me. I didn’t appreciate him telling me to hurry up and order, nor him saying “I had to repeat the order” when my friend was questioning why he repeat himself. I left because he started yelling at his coworkers saying “I’m making it”. Never felt a more hostile work environment. I’m scared of this place now

I go through the drive-through sometimes in the mornings on my way to work. I want to give a shout out to 3 of your employees. Ellen, who usually takes my orders, is one. She is the sweetest person, very kind and friendly. The other gal who hands me my food from the other window, I have to apologize because i’m not certain that I’m going to get her name right, Griselda. Again, very sweet and friendly in the mornings. This morning I was handed my food by Tony Alvarez. What a breath of fresh air! What an uplifting soul he is! God bless the manager for hiring these beautiful employees.

There are two lanes but I don’t know why, there have been several times I go in the second lane during late hours (I work over night) and no one will acknowledge or respond to me. There is nothing saying that the lane is down or closed they just won’t ever answer and it’s been this way for months now. It’s so irritating because when I do try my luck I end up having to go all the way around back in the 1st lane after more cars have pulled in.

We brought a large group of speech & debate kids late on a Saturday night after a tournament (after letting the management know we were coming a few weeks prior), and they did a great job accommodating our sudden appearance. The food was served quickly and cheerfully.

It was the nastiest Burger I’ve ever had! I ended up throwing it away because the bun was too soggy and had no flavor! When I called to complain and the worker that answered the phone said he wouldn’t know anything about how the burgers taste because he was vegan!
