All of our sandwiches are grilled on fresh baked, thickly sliced, Sourdough bread from Seattle’s own Macrina Bakery. We also offer gluten free bread at no extra charge.
All of our sandwiches are made to order – we can customize any sandwich and we offer popular substitutions like paleo and keto options, gluten free bread, and vegan cheese.

A bit pricey for what you are getting, but the food was pretty good. I got the turkey sandwich and it was delicious 🙂 I could only finish half of the giant sandwich they gave me and will be saving the rest for later. Service was fast and friendly. Go try it out!

Seriously one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve had in the area all, and I’ve tried the different grilled cheese food trucks up and down the Puget Sound. The Cheese Pit is easily my fav. Favorite sandwich is the pepper bomb. Very generous with the amount of jalapenos and pepperjack.

The Cheese Pit exceeded our expectations! How could a toasted cheese sandwich taste SO good?!!!? Our family has been regularly following the Cheese Pit food truck in a variety of locations, and each time we’ve visited, we’ve been met with friendliness, prompt attention, and quick turn-around times from order to receiving the sandwich. Nice generous portions of cheese on the sandwiches! It was roadside at the Hop and Hound fresh hop festival. Friendly chef was very nice and a good cook. The sourdough bread is nice and thick, it was nicely caked with crispy cheese – which was great. There was kind of a sweet caramelization on some of the crust – which made it a little sweet. Warning the “pepper bomb” sandwich is LOADED with Jalepeones… Better have some drinks on the ready

Something for everyone! I love the pepper bomb but my son and husband are all about the meat Luvvas. Love the fresh sour dough bread and the owners are amazing. So glad it’s still open. Great for a quick lunch or dinner.
