I had the pleasure of visiting the Mangroves Cafe, and among the amazing staff, I had an opportunity to meet the amazing staff while enjoying my choice of meals. As a native from the island, flavor is very important to me. I had an opportunity to try the salmon and avocado croissant which was delightful. I also had an opportunity to also try the Cuban which too was very flavorful! Visited this place for the first time today. I ordered the cheeseburger salad because it sounded different. I must say I can’t remember the last time my salad was so green and leafy. Very good. Would go again. This salad is going to easily be three meals for me. I should have taken a picture before I dug in because it presented very well. Oh and the staff and service were excellent as well.

OMG the BEST Cuban sandwich, period! Stuffed full of amazing pulled pork, perfectly marinaded and braised and thin deli sliced ham resembling canadian bacon in size and texture, but not salty and just a hint of flavor, the perfect meat mix for the pickles mayo and mustard to compliment. The cuban bread is outstanding as well. THANK YOU!

I was invited to come and get an amazing Cuban and I did. The El Cubano was made fresh with boar’s Head meat and pulled pork and my Mona Lisa smiles smoothie is refreshing and sweet. Very satisfied.
