Squarz began offering its gourmet all-natural pies and baked goods at Phoenix-area farmers markets in 2011 from which a community of fellow enthusiasts looking for delicious and interesting food blossomed. In 2015, the growing business empowered Squarz to open a full café and bakery in Tempe, where Squarz could expand its menu and its fight against mundane foods. In 2018, Squarz opened their second location in North Scottsdale. The Squarz café menu offers a variety of freshly-made meat pie, soups, salads, and baked items for delivery and dine-in.

I had the croissant eggs Benedict, it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce wasn’t as tangy as I’m use too, more savory and creamy. The croissant itself was flaky and soaked in a lot of the flavors. It is served with a fork and butter knife but good luck with that; the croissant was too dense to be eaten with utensils. Service was fast and friendly, the cashier had a wonderful smile. Finally the ambiance was very chill, relaxing music and i love their decor.

Today I found Squarz Bakery and Cafe. Mmmm. I’ve had their small hand pastry pies before at local farmer’s markets, but now I can have them anytime?! Ok! There were so many delicious sounding choices between sandwiches on the croissant puff or small hand pies or even pizzas. They do also have salads. I had a nice iced coffee with a savory caramelized onion and brie sandwich on a croissant bun. Warm creamy deliciousness!

This cafe is a lot larger inside than it first appears from outside. There are plenty of tables and comfortable sofas in a cosy atmosphere. I didn’t know anything about squarz type pies before but I liked what I tried. Must come back for other baked goodies including speciality croissants.

The croissant breakfast sandwich had a delicious aioli sauce and fluffy eggs held together by very crispy croissants halves, it was simply a chef’s kiss . They also had a sour apple filled croissant and a lovely churro cookie. This place was absolutely lovely from the start when we were greeted by two finely dressed gentlemen and went above and beyond with service. I will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Head on in as soon as you can! Great selection of ‘mini pies’, which are kind of large ravioli sized deliciousness!! Light pastry containing a various combo of goodness! The croissants are also as varied. I stopped in on a Sunday AM. The guy behind the counter was by himself but was just amazing spinning so many plates (literally) waiting on folks, taking orders and getting them up and out. And on top of that was having register issues. BIG HUGE KUDOS to him! Everyone was totally understanding and patient. Definitely coming back!

I don’t know how they do it but there are sooo many layers of flaky yummyness. I had never been here before so I wanted to try multiple things. We ordered 6 different things to try and let me tell you….every single one of them was amazing. And honestly the best Cheese Danish I have ever had. We also ordered 2 iced coffees. Their coffee is really good too. If you haven’t tried this place then you’re missing out! Thank you Squarez Bakery for making my morning!
