The potatoes are REAL mashes taters. The family that runs it is great. When did u go to eatvwhen the owners mom fries your chicken. The current $6.99 lunch is the best deal in the country. And everything I have eaten there has been great. We drive 50 miles to eat there and visit with the hard wirking family that runs it.

I cannot speak to the food as I just came in for a coffee and to ask some questions about the town in general, but it was a very nice experience. Friendly service. Has plenty of tables and a bar area that had the baseball game on.

Tasty country diner, excellent value. The liver dumplings were an unexpected treat. Chicken was tender and tasty. If you don’t want 3 pieces, you can order a smaller 2 piece portion. Sunday dinner was 9.25 and includes all sides pictured, plus salad.

We always try & support local small business over big chains .. stopped in to try the food, & now we often come back because of the service!! Fries are good, chicken is excellent, the biggest gem in the building is a sweet/friendly waitress named Helen . She made us feel like family from the start. I highly recommend you stop in & say hello!
