We have ate here a few times, food is always great and service is always friendly. We want to try more on the menu but fell in love with their burgers from the start. Tried the single “Beast Burger” today , it requires an empty stomach and a big appetite. The regular burgers are good size, but the beast menu takes it to another level.

Had good reviews so thought I would try it out. Got there about 6 pm, this evening Saturday. I ordered the Slappyz cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Customer service was great at the order counter and at the table. But… the fries were over cooked too brown. Appeared to be reheated back into the fryer. The hamburger was not freshly cooked either. A reheat that was completely dry. The bun and tea was perfect. Management did correct the fries, with a perfect golden fresh order. I didn’t address the dried hamburger issue to the Management. It was so close to closing time. I didn’t want to create anorher problem. So I ate the dry hamburger. Maybe by being there so late, could have been the problem in the kitchen. Loved the Customer Service, and the diner was clean. So I will give them another try.

My wife and I ate there a few weeks ago and it was delicious! I had catfish that was breaded perfectly and cooked exactly right! My wife had fried chicken that was made to perfection also. Topped it off with one of their fantastic brownies and left as a happy couple! We will be going back regularly.

Catfish is cornmeal breaded and delicious. White beans and hush puppies really good…fries were mediocre. Yes I’ll be back to try some other items. Order at the counter and pick it up when your number is called.

Really good food and service. If you’re a fried chicken liver person like me, you should love theirs. So tender on the inside, flavorful, and a good crunch on the outside. Pretty good with the house hot sauce as well, which is kind of a sweet hot sauce.
