Stopped here for lunch before checking out the Hobo rail car and cemetery. Fried chicken was excellent – homemade bread, coleslaw, potato salad with it were all delicious. Highly recommend.

Amazing all around! They went out of their way to make eggs and toast for my baby even when it wasnt breakfast time. The service, food, and atmosphere were over the top amazing. And the prices were really reasonable too! Also, the place (and highchairs) were very clean.

Good food. Location is clean. They serve breakfast until noon and they always have at least a couple of daily specials. Best fried chicken in town and the serve the nice thick crinkle cut fries. Always fresh pies for dessert to choose from.

I’ve stopped here many times for lunch or take out. The specials are good, take out is good. I normally get hamburger and fries. Cheesseballs and onion rings. Have had my order needing fixed a couple times. They were able to fix it without any problems.

This place should be FAMOUS. We spent the week exploring the back roads of Iowa and came across this place while traveling along a stretch of old Hi way 18. I only wish I would have gotten the name of the hostess, the waitress, the cook, the person who cleaned off the tables and washed the dishes…. I would have only needed to remember ONE Name because she did EVERYTHING and did it well, all the while maintaining that trademark Iowa hospitable positive attitude. Whoever was clocked in at 1:30 pm on 7/5/2018 deserves a raise…. And to top it off the food was fantastic. Home made Meat loaf with all the good stuff and the pork …. Oh, that’s right in Iowa its just called Tenderloin sandwich was great too. I think they should sell T-shirts… When it Britt ya gotta Gitt… to the Heartland! If this place hasn’t been on the Food or Travel network it should.

Just…no. I’m sorry. I was turned off immediately when reading the menu bc of the spelling errors. The place just seems cheap. I was not impressed with the food. Not the cleanest either. The owners seem nice, but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

I stopped in today on our way through town. After waiting over a half hour for our food we got the wrong order and they didn’t bother to correct it or check on us. I have never been so disgusted with such horrible service or food.
