I came here Tuesday and Wednesday and noticed that the ladies were on their own time. I understand filling sauces and reserving a table for dinner a week later is a great reason to leave the customer at the register without acknowledgement. Fine. had two very amzing sandwiches. I go back today expecting the same type of service so I was talking on the phone because I am from out of state taking care of business and the lady acts like I’m not there. Rudely asking me if I needed something.. well yes I need my order. She proceeded to tell me it’s rude to talk on the phone. That’s your opinion. I put my two bean salad and beet salad back and she gave me the sandwich for free. I do not take handouts. Make sure you treat each customer with the same respect.

Very welcoming and friendly environment and delicious food. I had a very pleasant experience here. Not sure why anyone would leave a bad review about Lyla’s. This place has just become my new favorite place for Lebanese food. I recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich. Yum. Check out their Wednesday night dinners on Facebook!

I ordered the family portion tray in the last week of September 2022, as my aunt was coming into town from Miami for dinner. I was super disappointed with the food and most of it went into the trash. The falafel was dry, the kibbeh was dry and the chicken was dry and underwhelming. Just not the type of Lebanese that I’m used to that is usually very flavorful and juicy. Kinda tasted like left overs and their rice was also not the good rice with the pilaf. Service was good, otherwise I’d be giving a lower rating. Also I was disappointed bc I spent like 50 dollars on the food. It was a lot of food but the quality was off.

Our friends look forward visiting us when we order their delicious food. We usually order family deal and there are plenty of food. The quality is very consistent, and the owners are amazing people. We are beyond fortunate to have a high quality catering/takeout restaurant. My only regret is not to write this review any sooner.

This place is a GEM. I live in Troy, but have been working in Grosse Pointe Farms for the past 8 months and I’ve been searching for good Mediterranean food. I am of middle eastern descent myself and love flavorful food. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and picked out a lentil soup and rice pudding out of the fridge. My platter came with rice and a salad. The salad was so fresh and the dressing was mazing. The chicken and rice were delicious. The Lentil soup is now one of my faves. I am so happy I have found this place!
