My lunch (with ice tea) cost $18.30 + $3.66 tip (even though it was just a salad & the veggie/meat buffet included the 2 selections of meat) so the waitress didn’t have to do much) = $21.96. As a retiree on a smaller income I won’t be doing that often..And I like eating out often. Food was fine.

Tenderloins were really good great fries. Burger was great. Salad bar was good. Good onion rings. Taco salad left alot to be desired , chicken in it was bland and dry , lettuce tomato onion and olive …. Needed some more flavor in a big way …. Refried beans? Avocado? Better lettuce? Just needed flavor and less dry in general… Shell was great though.

We love Poppa’s and eat here regularly when we get the chance! The food is always great for adults and kids. I really hope they can get more staff and someone as wonderful as them to buy the restaurant to keep it going! We also love their desserts and normally take some to go!
