Service was great, barbecue was tasty and the cheesecake tasted like heaven! Stopped in for lunch off of highway 44 and the food was great! We got a pork sandwich, brisket, and a spud and finished it off with sweet tea and a huge piece of cheesecake!

I had the pulled pork plate with cole slaw and potato salad with lemonade (free refills) and my husband had the brisket sandwich plate with cole slaw and baked beans with lemonade. Deeeeicious!! Fantastic service. And yes, we finished with the cheesecake!

Well cooked, with more than generous portion sizes. My only wishes are for more sides (like fries) added to the menu, and I was slightly disappointed they only offer Sweet Baby Ray’s and not a greater variety of sauces. Not that this is at all a deal-breaker! Just a suggestion. Pork steak was good, and the smothered baked potato was great

Food is phenomenal! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is menu options. I went in for lunch and wanted ribs. The special was 1/2 side of ribs and 2 sides. I didn’t want sides, only ribs (dietary restrictions). I asked for a while slab of ribs, waitress said I would have to buy 2 specials. That would have been $37 for a side of ribs and 4 side orders to throw away. So I asked if I could get the 1/2 slab of ribs and no sides, was told by the waitress that wasn’t an option. Ok, whatever. So I had a double pork burger instead and it was freaking awesome.

we loved when went years ago. Their food is very good. However, today the diner was at 85% capacity. We were asked to seat ourselves. We sat for 10 minutes waiting to order. I went up and grabbed our menus because no waitress had seen us after we sat down. The 2 or 3 ladies working there walked by us and no one asked if we were ready to order. We went after church so it was 10:20am when we arrived. I went up to ask the ladies if we could order and they told us they were done serving breakfast. They advertise breakfast until 11am. They didnt say anything when we walked in about breakfast is no longer being served yet they were bringing plates of eggs and toast out to people before I walked up. So, I know it was probably a busy morning but we won’t be back. Lack of communication and hospitality is just not what I’m looking for in a diner. I want to support local business but this place disappointed me today. While it was probably not on purpose I do not want to go ever again.
