Hasn’t changed in 20 years, which is a great thing. As classic a ski bar as they come. Live music and good bar food. Service is really good considering how busy and chaotic it can be, especially when lifts close. Don’t expect wine and cheese; this place is about beer and cocktails, or warm apre ski drinks.

Trap Bar is well known with the Targhee skiing community. Finish up a run on dream catcher and ski right to the restaurant. Plenty of beers on tap. Food is good. Cost is pretty reasonable considering its on a resort. Trap Bar is exactly what its meant to be. A place to rest, dry out, have a beer or three, and get some food.

An iconic ski bar with friendly employees…great beers on tap and live music every Fri and Sat afternoon…can’t go wrong skiing pow at the Ghee and then taking a break at the Trap! Highly recommended… one of the best ski bars anywhere!

Came for our anniversary and came out to this place to find a good seat and coffee. When we were helped the lady told us me we couldn’t sit at a table outside if we were just going to order coffee. She said we could sit on the grass. After paying $8 for just 2 small coffees, I think we would deserve to sit at a table outside!

You can’t beat the Trap to cap a day of fantastic skiing! Friendly, efficient staff (esp Mike at the bar), extensive beer selection, good food, and awesome bands on weekends.
