Upon entry, I was great with a golden smile by D’Angelo!!! There was no one up front, so he came from the back to take my order. He upsold fries and a drink. He was knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant! The restaurant was so clean and the guest and staff were so welcoming and friendly. My aunt really enjoyed her meal and I know it was because it was made with love!! Give that man a raise!!!! He deserves it!!!

Today I was able to experience true splendor of Tops Bar-B-Que. I made this purchase at the store on Poplar Ave near White Station. Lifetime fan of Tops BBQ. Prefer over all other bbq places in Memphis. Tonight I was so disappointed. Went in to get a pound of pork, white meat pulled. I know it cost extra to do all white meat. I do not mind paying extra. I offered to pay extra. They refused us. The girl at the counter said they could not sell all white by the pound. I left and went to another location. They gladly served us. Poplar location needs to work on their customer service.

Came to visit family in Tennessee and ordered some Top’s BBQ. Maybe I made the mistake of ordering for delivery, but when I received the order I was highly disappointed. Had the Sandwich Pack and the pork it came with was as dry as central texas is right now. Might as well change the name to Top’s Jerky. The pack the buns came in had a big hole on the side. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any one. Go get some fried chicken from Gus’s instead.
