The service here is really great, but it is an order-at-the-counter setup, so not a full sit-down service, but still very helpful people. The food is really good. It is almost as hot as the food served in India, so don’t think you can handle the hot level if TexMex is your idea of hot. One of our guests from North Asia said he likes really hot spicy food, but was shocked at how hot the hottest dish was. He had to get extra bread and mix in some yogurt in to finish his meal. The manager was very helpful and offered to replace the meal with something less spicy. However, my friend was determined to finish what he ordered. The manager later gave him a gift card for his next meal. Now that is customer oriented service! I had the shrimp in butter sauce and enjoyed the normal spice level just fine. The cilantro sauce is excellent and adds flavor to the dish.

It’s very cute in here and the staff is very nice. They label gluten free items and will sub other sides for naan. All the curries were good, we tried saag, butter chicken, and makhani. Delicious! It is order at the counter style but they bring your food out to you.

This place has great customer service to match the amazing food!! I ordered the spicy potatoes and those are definitely a must. I also got the butter chicken and the Shrimp korma and both were amazing !!! I finished off with a masala tea. I love this place and it is my go to Indian spot in the RTP!!

This is our go-to Indian restaurant! The staff and owner are so very friendly and the food is mouth watering! The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern and spacious. You will NOT regret trying out Cilantro!

Cilantro Indian Cafe is more of Fusion restaurant that caters mostly the American taste buds. The food portions are perfect quantity for one person with room for dessert. Shrimp Biryani was flavorful and so was Samosa chaat with mint yoghurt chutney. Tilapia fish curry was good but not to my liking. Masala Chai and cardamom tea was good too but I would have preferred it to be less sweet. The concept of ordering & prepaying is nice but had to stand in line again to reorder Samosa chaat and had to wait a really long time(almost 30mins) for it to come to the table. Because of the unique food taste, we will be back to try some more and update the review. Overall a good visit and I’m quite surprised that this place stays open only 5days a week from 4pm-8:30pm.

We tried this for the first time today. Such a cute atmosphere. The staff is amazing, the owner came and checked on us and made sure everything was perfect. Keep in mind, we are new to the spice game. If this is you, ask for very mild to mild when you order. We will be back!

The food can only be topped by the incredibly inviting staff. They go out of their way to ensure that the food is perfect- even for beginners who aren’t sure what to order and can’t take the intense heat of some of the dishes. The atmosphere is great for a couple’s night out or a group. Our favorite Indian place!
