I guess I’m not a fan of everything being steamed and almost a singular soft texture. The flavor isn’t terrible, but just isn’t my thing. Also, whenever I come here (which isn’t very often), the staff aren’t very friendly, like they would rather do anything but be there. I don’t require much, but a smile or a little courtesy goes a long way, and here; it’s nonexistent.

We wanted to try somewhere new, food was mediocre nothing special. The guy taking our order acted like he would rather be anywhere but there, couldn’t hear anything he was saying, did not smile one time. Also it was pretty expensive for 2 sandwiches. We won’t be back

Absolutely fantastic. I LOVE Firehouse. Very good food. Large portions. Fair price. Friendly people every time I have went. Nice and hot. They get our orders right. Although they seem to not know what Datil sauce is when my wife asks for it. Almost every time we have gone they do not put Datil sauce on it. Maybe they call it Captain Sorenson sauce? But where I am from, Firehouse calls it Datil sauce.

Food was phenomenal. However the cashier was extremely rude. She didn’t speak to us, and when it was time to pay she just stared at my husband until he realized she wanted him to pay. She didn’t tell us the total. She literally just stared at us. I asked if she could put 2 drinks on the order because I saw the screen said one. She completely ignored me. We sat down to eat. She watched me eat the entire time. I got up to get my drink she watched me do that. I’m not sure why we were so much on the radar but that was the most uncomfortable I’ve felt in a restaurant. We quickly finished our food and left. The other staff was so sweet and professional however. So I do thank them for some sense of comfort and respect.
