First, the chick that answers the phone and runs the register really needs to learn how to open her ears and LISTEN to people. I had to ask 4 times on the phone if they had fries before she understood me, and when I was picking up the order I asked for soy sauce and she gave me duck sauce and I had to ask twice for chop sticks because she apparently either didn’t hear me or didn’t understand me the first time. If you do not understand someone speaking clear concise English then get someone who does to run front of house and stay in the kitchen.

I have been eating here for around 6 months. However, my mom and niece have been eating here for quite a while. Their food has always been really good and the service has been excellent. I can’t really say anything about the atmosphere because I call my order in, and it’s ready to pick up when I arrive, so I have never eaten there or been there any longer than maybe 2 minutes. I’ve never gotten my order wrong or anything missing. Everyone who has checked me out has been very friendly also. The only thing that I can complain about would be their chicken chow main. It would be absolutely perfect if they put more snow peas in it, less celery, and smaller pieces of onions, more crunchy noodles, and no rice. However, the Chow Mein is absolutely delicious now. I just order extra crispy noodles and no rice, although they always give me the rice anyway. I would definitely tell anyone who wants to order good Chinese food that Great Wall is one of the best in Wayne County.

We have been getting food from here for years but ever since the wonderful folks that use to be there left or sold out it is definitely not the same the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was extremely overcooked so much so my husband couldn’t even eat it and the veggies in the beef and vegetables was terrible. The egg rolls doesn’t have meat in them anymore and they definitely don’t taste as good as they use too. My advice to whoever is running it now, if you don’t want to lose all your business then you need to get it together. This use to be the best Chinese Restaurant in Town but it’s awful now. We will not return.

The lady up front was rude and had a nasty attitude with my 74yr old mother I don’t know who or what made her mad before we arrived but don’t take your anger out on the next person. I was about to air that dirty looking place out… Not to mention after we get home the order was wrong and stuff was missing needless to say that’s our last visit there.

I’ve heard people say that they were treated rudely, but I’ve never had an experience like that. As long as you act like an actual adult you will be treated just fine. As for the food, it taste really good. My go to is the cashew chicken, it always hits no better the time. The egg rolls are pretty good but they could use some work. The rice is always well cooked and filling. The dinner meals are also really good and cost efficient.

I totally don’t recommend this place, my chicken wings were dry has rocks my dumplings judge by yourself they don’t even looked like a dumplings, and the meat inside was pink, my daughter was upset bc she loves dumplings, also my husband was mad because I spend more than I should in that place in just 3 plates dominos never disappoint me, I mean tbh they’re the worst Asian restaurant in the whole county just see the pics, but that’s how you live and learn, I’ve never getting back

I ordered two egg rolls, crab reguns and shrimp mea fume(I know I spelled incorrectly) and egg rolls were ok, crab reguns were oil loved and the same with my shrimp dish… I was at work ordered around 1215/1220 told it would be 15min showed up from work at 1245!!! And my food wasn’t ready… so I said something to the person working the front about how it was taking too long and I had to get back to work. So I see them make my shrimp dish which at first looked good until it was taken out of the dish it was put into and back into the pan to be cooked again. It had so much oil in it it leaked through the bag!!!! I went back after my shift and the front lady was extremely rude and disrespectful… I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy or anyone who doesn’t want to eat food that tastes like it was soaked in oil!!!! Will never go again and discourage anyone from going there either

I hate to do this but I ordered five egg rolls and the only thing on the inside was bad tasting cabbage. I think it was fried in old oil—tasted like dish soap. I really tried but it wasn’t edible.

I recently purchased $130 of food from the Great Wall for 8 guests for a birthday party. We have ordered from there about twice a month for several years. The restaurant has changed hands this past year and the quality of the food has gotten progressively worse. The beef in the beef and broccoli was so fatty it was like slime. The General Tao’s chicken was all batter, with chicken pieces the size of a small marble. The lo mein tasted burnt. It was a very disappointing meal. We literally threw out most of it. Needless to say, we are looking for a new Chinese restaurant in this part of town, or driving in to the Laughing Owl more often.
