If I can give this place a higher rating than 5/5 I would. Was absolutely blown away by this spot. Customer service was spot on and we had Valentin as our server. He was helpful and we had so much fun at this spot. The food was so amazing and I recommend getting the queso Fundido and steak fajitas. Also you can’t go wrong with getting any of the drinks. Most dishes are delivered with amazing presentation. So happy we discovered this hidden gem.

Fun spot to visit. The frozen margaritas were strong! You do have to order from the bar in order to get any happy hour specials. All of our parties food & drinks were good. The table service was a bit on the slower side, but nothing unreasonable.

Such a hidden gem! We almost missed this place on our wine bar tour but happy we didn’t. Unfortunately we didn’t eat here, it was midday on a Sunday and they close the kitchen for a bit. But we had the BEST, most interesting Rose Sangria. Very unique – I haven’t seen this done anywhere else yet. Would definitely like to go back for food again, I’d probably recommend reservations as it was on the smaller side. They also had a few tables outside on the sidewalk.

What a gem of a find. We wanted to try Mesita in Garden City and we’re so glad we did! The vibe is cool and everyone is welcoming. We came a bit early for dinner. Reservations are a must as it filled up fast for a Thursday. We had a shrimp ceviche for a starter and was surprised of the large portion. Fresh and delicious. I had the special – lobster quesadillas with a light slaw and my husband had the skirt steak with potatoes. Both delicious and our plates went back empty! Desserts were the tres leches cake and the churros with a Mexican chocolate dip. We enjoyed everything and washed it down with a red (drinky) sangria. Our waiter is Eric – another gem, so friendly, professional and his recommendations were spot on. The staff is great too. Thank you Mesita for a lovely date night! We will definitely come again!

Drinks were great! The ambiance was enjoyable as well. However, my entree was quite disappointing. I ordered the birria tacos, which were unbelievably dry. I didn’t even know that was possible for this type of taco. For the money, I’d go elsewhere for an entree.

Mesita is beyond amazing! The atmosphere is a nice intimate but lively experience. The music isn’t too loud & the lighting is dim enough that you can still see the menu. The tacos always give what they need to give, the drinks are amazing! Wait staff is friendly! They’re clean & accommodating, we love that! Our waiter Aden was great & had an amazing attitude aura about him! We almost always spend more than $$$ when we go but it’s worth it every single time!

Very busy establishment, we came close to closing and felt rushed. Would like to try again at a better time. The was decent, I only ordered tacos but was no flavor. Guacamole was cool but like I said…better timing on my part next time.

Overall like the spot the food was filling and good quality of you like places like Besito or dirty taco you will like it here. If you want decent margaritas and tacos stop by and check it out. The guac tasted fresh and the tacos were larger than expected.
