Literally the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I take everyone I know with me when we visit Gettysburg and everyone feels the same. From the tacos, to the burritos, sopes, and even standard American fare like the chicken sandwich and fries, it really is absolute perfection. My fiancée is very picky about hot sauce and he fell in LOVE with the red sauce.

Spent the day in Gettysburg and was looking for a place to eat. At first I was taken back by the entrance but once inside, it was amazing. We ordered alot of food unaware of the incredibly large portions. I was eating that for 2 days and it was still great

This hidden gem was delicious! We got tostada’s, the quesadilla pizza which was huge, quaso dip & the fries were amazing too. So much food and it was all fresh! Definitely recommend.

I finally found a place in South Central PA with great tacos! The chicken was amazing! I thought it was gone when I pulled up. The open sign wasn’t lit and through the window I could see laundry machines but you walk through there into a small market in the back. Fantastic!

Don’t let the entrance fool you as you walk through the laundry mat. The real deal as it is cooked to order right in front of you. The burrito was the size of a toddler’s diaper. The food was most excellent as was the service and the goods sold onsite. You could purchase Hispanic grocery items as well as a pair of handmade leather boots.

Gettysburg is fortunate to be home to so many great Mexican Restaurants. That said, El Sangarito is hands down my favorite. The tacos are incredible and their quesadilla is the size of a medium pizza loaded with the meat of your choice, peppers, onions, avocado, and with a side of their salsa and sour cream. Their burrito makes Chipotle pale in comparison in terms of its size and flavor. The only downsides are the very limited seating and you have to walk through a laundromat to get to it. Still, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you let that deter you from this authentic cuisine.

Tiny little spot tucked into the back behind a laundromat, but excellent food, much better than a lot of the typical Mexican resteraunts in the area. Just a few tables, order at the counter.

This place is amazing, the food is always fresh, tasty, and cook to order. Staff are friendly, and there’s a great vibe to this place. Wouldn’t eat lunch any place else for real Mexican food
