We loved coming here when they were at their old location and followed them here. Nice drinks, a large variety of food (including veggie/vegan options) and a decent happy hour. This new location seems smaller and can fill up, so there might be a wait during peak times.

Everything was plated beautifully and was absolutely delicious. I had the Jerk Shrimp and Mango Salad. I’m honestly getting hungry just thinking about it again. The flavors were very balanced and had a lot of depth. If everyone at my table wasn’t insisting their food was the best item on the menu I probably would order that every time I go back. We also got the salsa and guacamole which were both extremely fresh and flavorful. I normally don’t like mild salsa but I would order this again.

Really enjoyed the jerk chicken nachos here. The walls need some art to help sound dampening and front windows need some cover would be my only adjustment here. All ways great music food was served quickly.

This is the newest (and boy, is it new!) in the local chain’s stable, and I gotta tell you, they have certainly kicked it up a notch. Beautiful food, with all the flavors I know and love, beautiful service (I think they cherry-picked the best employees from the other branches, tbh), and a killer double-margarita Happy Hour special, to boot. It’s like, 3 passport stamps for me to get there from Gentilly, but when I’m bringing visitors over to the Maple Leaf we will definitely stop in again. Pictured are the Chicken Enchiladas and the Americano tacos “ala’ Taco Sandwich” – think chalupa, with a hard taco shell with a soft tortilla wrapped around it – plus the de riguer chips and salsa with queso. I wanted to get my favorite, the flying burrito, but had to try something new that is my new favorite.

Love Juan’s. Food is always great! I took away one star because of the waitress. my 1 1/2 yr old and I were ignored by the server while she tended to everyone else in her section, as well as new guests. Other guests noticed this too. I tried to get her attention, to at least take our drink order, still ignoring us. The host saw and ended up taking our orders, and bringing our food, what a gentleman. This doesn’t stop me from not getting their delicious food. perhaps to-go or another location next time.

I got the Luv it Bowl and it was so salty, I stopped eating halfway and had to take it home. I tried it again but it is still very salty to me so I’m not sure if it’s always like this but I just wanted to flag that! I couldn’t tell if it was the rice or toppings but it made it pretty unenjoyable

Great food and location!! Only complaint was that we were practically yelling at each other to be heard. Lol. There are probably some circumstances that you don’t want to converse with your dinner mates, for sure, but some well-placed acoustic buffers on the ceiling would go a LONG way to bring the decibels down to normal conversation.
