Overall really good food, getting the check seems to always be a problem and this place didn’t fall short of that. Had to go ask and the waiter got a little snippy but it is what it is. The foods good so would recommend.

The restaurant is in an old bank which still has the old vault in it. If you plan to go for dinner, it would be a good idea to make a reservation. It was very busy when we arrived at 6:30 pm we didn’t have to wait. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jim ordered The Beast. It is a 1/4 bison, wagyu beef, wild boar, and elk with a side order of French fries. I ordered the Cajun Pasta. It was very tasty with just enough heat to enjoy. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only drawback is the parking. The best thing to do is to figure out parking beforehand.

Really disappointing food. I got the gnocchi, which was balls of soft glue. They were either raw or cooked wrong because I couldn’t even pick it up with the fork. My husband got steak with mashed potatoes. They serve the potatoes in a dish on the side, look terrible and tasted like the kind you get from a lunch cafeteria. The menu and service were spot on, but the food execution was bad.

Tryed out the Vault tonight nice restaurant in downtown Dubuque district. The staff was great and the food was good. A must try if your in the area. We got the crabstuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. The lemon chicken and lobster both cooked very well. Definitely would come back if I am in the area!

We’ve been here a few times now. The food and drinks are usually really good. Sometimes it takes awhile for food to come out but reasonable when the restaurant is busy. However tonight we waited 40+ minutes for food and watched other tables who sat after us finish meals while we waited. Salad was missing items. Just overall not impressive quality tonight. Not sure if it was just an off night but disappointing.

We had crab stuffed mushrooms, a burger, and the shrimp special. All was delicious, well prepared, and reasonably priced. Maddie, our server was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We will be back!
