I called ahead for a reservation for four to celebrate our 33 wedding anniversary! We got dressed up because we were expecting to be going to a nicer place to dine. We waited longer than expected since I had called ahead two hours prior to arriving. We were sat in the middle dining room, by ourselves, with the back screen door slamming every 3 minutes, people yelling “corner” every time they walked back to the kitchen and pretty much forgotten. Our food was cool when it arrived, probably from sitting in the kitchen without notice. We finally got the waitress attention and had it sent back, then the manager brought out our food and wasn’t sure which steak was who’s! Very disappointed in our night. Had a few other suggestions from people for where to go for dinner and we should have listened.

Very disappointed tonight we had reservations for my grandmothers 89th birthday as a suprise to her as she has always loved the perch dinner. When reservations were made we were not asked whether we would be sitting inside or outside I suppose we should NOT have assumed we would be inside, when we arrived we were told it would be outside after they were deciding where to seat us. Reservations were made for party of 7 so our seats should have already been ready when we arrived to begin with. We have an 89 year old who has health issues just got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago and could not sit outside for dinner due to the heat. We were met with a very rude man at the hostess station who said that’s all we have and nothing he could do. We were very frustrated as to why we were not even asked if putting tables together was an option inside and were told sorry that’s all we have nothing could be done. That should be a question when making reservations inside or outside! We have made reservations before always have sat inside. The man behind hostess stand became even ruder which escalated the situation and we left. Very disappointed in this establishment as our family has been coming there for decades and will no longer return ever again. Customer service when charging the price for meals they do should be a given and there should have been help in figuring out a solution instead of just oh well too bad. No asking if we’d like to speak to a Manager nothing….. pretty sad this is how this high priced restaurant is ran. We WERE loyal customers who even ordered carry out during covid lock down to support this business!

I brought my wife here for our 20th anniversary dinner and everything was great. Service was quick, the servers were very friendly and the food was excellent. They had a 12oz NY strip with lobster butter. I absolutely loved it. My wife had the shrimp and scallops, she said they were delicious. We will definitely be returning!

First time in the area, so I asked someone could they recommend a good place to eat. Traveling back home has been nothing short of a nightmare so I was definitely in need of a good meal. Oak Park Tavern has the best burger in town they said. And I happily found they were correct, except for the coverage. Best Burger in Ohio… everything about Oak Park Tavern is 100% they’re proud of being One of the Best because that’s exactly what they want to be ! And it shows.
