First timer – WD did NOT disappoint. Started with the seafood deluxe for 2. A must try. Everything fresh and firm with dipping sauces. Bonus was the tuna sashimi at the top. Entree was scallops over truffle risotto..perfectly cooked.

Went to this wonderful place 2 times and they do not disappoint! First time I ordered the scallops with risotto and then got a slice of cheesecake. Second time, I went for the prime rib! It was perfect! Best prime rib I’ve ever had actually! It’s a beautiful elegant restaurant!

We called over the phone to place a reservation and upon our arrival we were met by a host by the name of Jack. Jack tells us our reservation doesn’t exist and goes on and on for 10 minutes about how they are packed tonight and there’s no room for us ect. Ect. Until finally he says that it would take 30 minutes to push 3 tables together for us. To our relief we tell Jack that he should have led with that and that we would gladly wait. Jack handled this situation all wrong and was actually quite rude and abrupt with this situation. We finally get seated and our waitress Kelly Anne took care of us. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. The service was a bit slow, especially considering the “packed” restaurant that Jack told us about, actually ended up being about 10-15 tables with many to spare. When our food started to arrive, many of us were displeased with the quality of the food. The taste, texture and warmth was off with many different dishes. With a higher class restaurant you expect a certain standard of service. That was not met with this visit what so ever. $900+ bill for food that was underwhelming, a host that was incredibly rude and jumpy and service that felt like a lifetime for even drinks when the restaurant was practically empty. I don’t think I would eat here even if it was comped.

On June 30th I had an opportunity to eat at the WD bar and grill at buffalo creek. Michael was our server. He was efficient, pleasant , attentative and provided outstanding service. The food was served hot , timely and was outstanding as well. Check it out and be sure sure to ask for Michael. Also, George the evening Manager came to our table to check in. Extremely pleasant man. As you can see, I highly recommend the restaurant.

Can you say luxury! Beautiful! It was a cold evening so we didn’t have the opportunity to sit on the deck with the View of the City, but you could! I had parmesan risotto and a spicy jumbo shrimp, delicious! A nice variety of choices on the menu.

On the south side of the casino. Entrance was closed when we were there, had to enter through the casino and was escorted since we had someone underage. The casino is not smoke free and you could smell it in the restaurant. Our server was Damen, serving for three years. Excellent server, beyond super average. He takes anything thrown at him with a smile and goes with the flow in a conversation. WD is very fortunate to have him. Many different customized butter with bread. Food is well presented and highly recommended.

Only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is our waitress was really good. The steak was possibly the worst steak I’ve ever had. Order the porterhouse medium rare with hollandaise. Came out with the runniest excuse for hollandaise I’ve ever seen, only to be told “that’s how our hollandaise sauce is.” Sounds like a lazy chef or store-bought sauce because no self-respecting steakhouse would allow a hollandaise sauce to have the consistency of water. Sent the $60 steak back for having barely any pink at all despite being ordered medium rare. Ordered with the demi glace instead and what came back out with the steak was more akin to a brown gravy. Sides were cold when they arrived at the table as well. This place was dead on a Saturday night and now I know why. Have been here a few times before, won’t be back again. Way too many good restaurants in Buffalo to waste your time here. Absolutely not worth the price.
