First time, and we are so excited about it. The food portions are super big. We were able to share everything and still go home with a full box it seemed like. We went at 1145 literally right as the lunch rush was coming in. We got our food to eat here. The table and chairs are really cute with the beachy ocean vibe. Highly recommend a trip in.

The food is really good here. I like the Hawaiian BBQ Kona plate, which comes with short rib and marinated steak and barbecue chicken rice and macaroni salad. Last time I went into eat I left satisfied and saw this rainbow. What better endorsement could you get?

I ordered off the pick two meal with chicken katsu and BBQ beef, it was delicious ! I also ordered 8pc crab Rangoon they were so bomb!! The cashier was very helpful with explaining the menu! Cool atmosphere! I will definitely be returning

I’m sure this is some kind of franchise chain. I asked first to see if the owner was from the Islands. They said yes. But from the chicken to the kalbi all of it was not close to what Hawaiin BBQ is and beyond dry. Then the giant bed of whole cabbage was crazy. A little shredded cabbage is a nice touch. But this is just so the plate looks fuller. Half the amount of food. And almost .5x more expensive than other Hawaiin spots in the country. I guess this is ok for those that have never experienced real Hawaiin BBQ but it’s sad at best. I’ll try l&l maybe they aren’t too far removed. But this place isn’t good but I guess in a state like Colorado bad food does very well.

I hate to be a Debbie downer but I Decided to try this place as we have been watching and waiting for it to open. Went in tonight and I ordered the Kalua pork and was extremely disappointed. The pork was super Duper dry. The cabbage underneath it was not anything to be excited for and zero seasoning. It’s like it was a filler to make your meal look fuller. 3-4 large pieces of cabbage. The Kalua pork that I have had in the past is much juicer with the pork having nice sized chunks and the cabbage is stewed in that pork giving it awesome flavor and still a little crunch on the cabbage. I understand that they just opened but I would hope they would’ve served something a little bit better. Hopefully it changes. I won’t be back for the kalua pork but maybe something else? Hopefully they get larger water cups also because what they’re serving is basically two sips and you are back and forth for refills. Besides what I ordered. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. Customer service was great as well. Just a bad experience with what I ordered.

I got the BBQ platter. The chicken katsu was fresh and crisp, the beef was flavorful, and the mac and cheese was creamy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kona is worth a try!
