This is one of the most beautiful places to dine in Jackson. The food, drinks, atmosphere…. servers, bartenders…. absolutely everything is great. Expect a lovely upscale, yet laid-back environment. They are not expedient, but they are well worth the visit!!!

So I was expecting fine doing with white tablecloths and a piano. Instead we were on a sunporch with black tablecloths and a TV set on CNN covering Trump! Was going to be our 25th anniversary celebration, now I need a do over. The food was good especially the Summer salad.

Some of my girl friends and I came for their Sunday brunch. It’s in a very cute white building that looks like the Fresh Princes house. There’s a live piano player and a nice waiting area with a fire place. The Sunday buffet was $20/person. This rating is just for their brunch, not regular restaurant hours and menu items.

It is a beautiful place. We went to a Bourbon event. The food was served family style. There was a lot of things to try. My favorite was the salad and the desserts especially the chocolate pot de cream.

Wonderful experience. Great food and wonderful service. We had a problem with the staff being overwhelmed and slow with the service but the restaurant more than amply made up for any inconvenience that we might have had. The buffet was very good and had a wide variety of meats, vegetables, seafood and dessert. I highly recommend that if you are in the Jackson, Miss. area that you reserve a spot for the Sunday Brunch.

Beautiful location! We had a very pleasant time at the restaurant. Food was superb. Dirty Martini’s were perfect but I would love to try more of their custom drink menu. Our group was very satisfied with everything. Staff was amazing and very accommodating.

We were tired after driving all day, so was nice to have a restaurant and bar right in the hotel as an option. The Library Lounge (separate review) is right next to the restaurant, and also serves small plates. When we moved to the restaurant, we were the only ones in there, and it stayed that way through our entire meal. Granted, it was a little early, but that was surprising. The decor is nice enough and the place is spotless. We were surprised at how slow it was getting our food, especially since we were the only ones in there. However, the food was quite good.

I was not impressed with the food or the service. We were a group of thirteen with a 7 PM reservation. We were seated promptly, and basically had the restaurant to ourselves. We had to ask for water — and had to keep asking, as no one was paying attention. It took a good half hour before the waiter took our entree orders. Our waiter disappeared so often, we joked that perhaps he was also the chef… Entrees were served at 8:50 PM. My pasta with shrimp was inedible due to the heavy use of spice (and I like spicy food). Others in the group reported cold soup. I would not eat there again.
