We were a party of 14 on a Friday evening. Our reservation was for 5:30pm and we were seated right away. The cocktails were beautiful. I wasn’t drinking, so I can’t personally attest to their flavors, however everyone said they were delicious.

Overall pretty disappointing meal. Came out to Castro for a night out with friends and wanted to try this place as it was newer.

Been here a couple of times now and the food is always spot on. We love the olive oil sauce that comes with the Gambas Al Ajillo (the shrimp is super fresh as well) and their paella is done so well. We’ve had a chance to sample through a number of the tapas and really enjoy the Champiñones Silvestres, Pulpo Gallego, Gambas Al Ajillo, and Albondigas so far. Haven’t had a chance to try their desserts but I always love getting churros when I see them, especially if they’re freshly made.

Cocktails were fantastic. Loved that the almonds arrived warm, wish they had more seasoning- something with some tang and spice would go great with the drinks. Wish the tapas portions were slightly larger for sharing- everything was basically single serving.

Saw some good reviews from FB and decided to give it a try with my friends, and it delivered! The cocktails were at lighter side but probably good for lunch lol; food was all good, especially the shishito peppers (I just love them) and Gambas Al Ajillo, so sauce was so good!! Paella De Mariscos was flavorful and full of seafood, very yummy! Will definitely come back again.

The restaurant is very pretty and well designed. The bar is quite beautiful. The food was just ok – the bread with tomatoes was the highlight. The almonds tasted as though they had been roasting for a bit and had an after thought of salt. The lamb meatballs were tasty but fairly small. The biggest disappointed was the squid ink paella – it was exceedingly oily with very little shell fish maybe 5-6 clams and some random squid rings tossed on – certainly not worth the price.

I like the huge spectacular open window door that connect the indoor space with the patio area. The place is beautifully decorated with this bright, modern and clean look. Very friendly and casual atmosphere, family friendly as well. They have a good selection of tapas and alcohol drinks that make you feel you can come here anytime to have a drink or two while tasting a couple of small savory dishes.

Made a reservation here and got seated outside with our dog (dog friendly yay). Our servers were all really nice and friendly and accomodating. The food is really yummy. Tapa sized. Their octopus was yummy, paella was really good too, and mushrooms and honestly just everything. The food doesn’t take very long either. Definitely recommend coming here. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating too and it wasn’t very busy when we came at 6:30pm on a holiday Monday.

Doppio Zero is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay and I love Spanish Tapas… so when I heard the owner opened a new restaurant, I had to try it!

Come if you want a cocktail at a pretty bar. Go to Cascal down the street if you want good food and service. We ordered the vegetable paella and it was such a thin layer of food which was undercooked, and over salty. Not worth it for the price. In addition we waited 25 minutes after the hosted seated us before our server greeted our table. We received better service from the kind bus boys and table runners. Won’t be return and will keep my business at Cascal.
