Today I found this hidden gem. This “food trailer” has quality Mexican food. The service is great. The food is freshly made with a really fantastic flavor. Mona Lisa is an excellent host that will answer any question you may have about the menu . It is hidden just behind the Gulfport Nissan used car dealer ship, kind of towards the Service Center area You will the red umbrellas and the benches. Come and give 228 Cocina a chance you will not regret it.

First but not last visit. Ordered 3 rolled dressed beef tacos that were very good with a bottled Barqs. The beef was a pleasant surprise because it was steak not ground beef. Took it to go because it was too hot outside even with the shaded seating.

Visiting from FL – BEST breakfast burrito I’ve had in years. Super cute food-truck style atmosphere with a nice seating area to enjoy, or take it to go. Our food was beautifully prepared and packed. First burrito I’ve ever had that was perfectly wrapped and made zero mess. We got the deluxe breakfast burritos, I’m sure they’re all just as tasty, and definitely filling!! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Definitely going back to try their lunch food!
