I am from Honduras and had been craving authentic food from home. Let me tell you this is the first ever Honduran restaurant that it is 100% authentic. The savory dishes will make you feel like you’re back home! Everything was so delicious and ever since my fist visit I’ve been going back to try every single item on the menu. Something I will say it’s that music was way too loud and it made it hard to talk.

Almost an hour waiting for the food to come out. We were never told how long the wait was going to be for takeout and none of the waitresses came to tell us how much more was left for our food. We had to go to ask when our food would be ready. A 10 top was given their food before us even though we were there first. Even when they finally gave us the food they forgot the drink and we had to remind them. I understand a busy night but the customer service and communication was truly lacking.

The food was delicious. We had never had Honduran food before so we just ordered what sounded good off of the menu. The pollo con tajades and the costillas de res. The meat and the sauce on both tasted absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a cabbage salad before but it seemed pretty yummy, even as not a huge fan of cabbage. The banana chips left some crunch to be desired and were unfortunately soggy. Other than that the only negative thing was the bottled coke being 3.50 a bottle with no mention of price or it being bottled on the menu, I expected it to be from a fountain/free refills. There was a small language barrier between us and the waitress but nothing that two people can’t work through easily as she was very friendly and attentive. We were there at 6:30 pm on a Thursday and had almost no wait, though the taste and portion size of the food is worth waiting for.
