My husband and I visited for the first time last weekend and we were very impressed! The food was fantastic and the chef/owner was very kind. He really knows what he’s doing! You have to try the Boudin Balls and Voodoo rolls, they will not disappoint! My husband’s face lit up when he tried the gumbo.

Boudin balls are spectacular. The Voodoo Rolls are filled with a sauce that you will want to put on EVERYTHING! But the dish that really shows the heart of the restaurant is the Gumbo. Chef makes his own Andouille sausage and his own Roux for it and it is absolutely delicious! Very nice family establishment with a feel like you kinda belong there. Very happy with this place and I hope them all the best. I will be back!

Friendly service. Very mindful of guests during our visit. (Family of 8) Food was very tasty but burgers were very undercooked for the amount of time they had to cook. Other than the potential for a food safety violation it was good.

The food here is very good. We’ve been several times and never been disappointed. We had the Cajun sampler, gumbo, and a Cajun chicken alfredo today. Berry cobbler for dessert.

Love to try new places. I drive thru Kingwood twice a week never noticed this restaurant. The menus are blurry on your website, tough to read. Do u have anything besides fried food. In the Dominion Post article you said your wife makes the salads . I can not find and salads on the menu. Love to stop Friday. Dessert says it is an option, not on the menu. No one answers the phone.

Authentic Cajun dishes and it is well-prepared. I know good Cajun since I lived in Texas for years and loved to visit Lafayette LA.restaurants. The crayfish and corn bisque is excellent! I’ll be ordering more food to take home with me.

I’ve never had Boudin Balls, but I would drive an hour back to eat these again! Missed the crayfish corn bisque, but they more than made up for it with chicken sausage gumbo. I didn’t even get to the list of poboys on the back page!

What a fantastic restaurant to find in Kingwood! I’ve had their red beans and rice, and boudin balls earlier in the week, and today tried their shrimp poboy sandwich, which I highly recommend. I’m picky about restaurant sweet tea, but Cat Daddy’s hits the spot perfectly! I’ll be a regular customer for sure!
