Great Italian place with fantastic homemade marinara! I’ve tried the pizza, spaghetti, and chicken carbanara and was very happy with all. Their tiramasu is spectacular as well. Highly recommend this place.

This place ruined Italian cuisine for me. The eggplant sandwich was served like something from a gas station, not enough cheese or tomato, felt like I was eating gas station food. I’ve had way better eggplant sandwich in an Italian place in the city where I live. The dessert was also below par, I’ve eaten that same dessert in my hospital cafeteria and it tastes so much better. The servers don’t check on you once they’ve served food. The guy at the restaurant took feedback about the sandwich in a good way though.

Went here for dinner on Friday night – not too busy, and the atmosphere was just right for a family dinner – not too loud, nice decor. Our server was excellent and very engaging. And the food was delicious! Had the special – chicken rollatini with pink vodka sauce and it was so good! Very generous portions – just finished the leftovers for lunch and they were just as good as last night. Highly recommend and will be back next time I’m in Newport News!

I went here with my son because of the 5 stars on Yelp. This place did not disappoint. From the greeting at the door to the food being served we’re all pleasant. I actually tasted the anchovies in the Caesar dressing and the pull of the cheese on the pepperoni pizza was amazing.

Hidden at the end of a strip mall near CNU, this little restaurant is an absolute gem. I went on a Saturday night, and was surprised at how busy it was. My mom and I were fortunate to get a table quickly, but those who came in after did not seem to mind waiting for a table. If dining in is not your thing, they also do a brisk take-out business as well. Service was attentive. And the food is definitely worth the wait. My dish is pictured. Fresh, very tasty, and plentiful portions. Definitely a place worth revisiting.

Too hot. With a group. Service was excellent, we did change tables because it was too warm. Food came out together for 10 people, lovely. Meat sauce spaghetti needed more meat. Everything else was generous.

This food was too good…I had to put my phone down just so I could be present for every. single. bite. I got the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, and I wanted to drink the leftover sauce with a straw. The homeade garlic knots and quality house salad are complimentary and such a treat. The staff were great too as they all worked as a team and I never went without. The Italian accents and Italian sports channel made this place feel incredibly authentic. Well done, Azzurri, well freaking done.
