Without a doubt, this was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The ambiance and setting of an old miner’s shack, as well as the quality of the food was amazing. There are only a few restaurants I would consider a destination. This is one. Well worth traveling a few – or even several hundreds of miles to get to. We met two of the owners, brothers, who were both very friendly. Honestly, Michelin should come by and rate this establishment. Yes – it is that good. We’ll come again. We’ll go out of our way to come again.

A lovely anniversary dinner ❤️ The food was impeccable, we even got to have a quick chat with the chef about upcoming changes to the menu, when I asked about a specific dish, he said he would try to put it on the menu & to follow them on Facebook to keep up with changes, I did! The portions were a very good size, so much so we both took some to go My only complaint was that even though we had a reservation, we were sat next to a table of 4-6 rather rowdy guys when the restaurant was nearly empty. Our waitress was lovely and told us we could move, we should have taken here up on it but did not, that is on us ♀️ We will definitely be back & share this place with visiting friends!

What a gem! Stumbled upon this restaurant with my Fiance on a trip out to the National Parks in the area, and we went in not knowing what to expect.

The atmosphere & building was exceptional! The presentation of the food was so perfect. The service was not good. Our salads came after our food. Waiters changed us out for bigger parties. It felt as if our money didn’t matter. The food flavor / of the $60 rib eye was under cooked & flavorless. I’d go again only for the atmosphere.

Came here for a getaway with my significant other on our last night of our trip last year and it was the highlight of my trip as far as dinning! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet and the seating was intimate! Our meals were delicious and so was dessert! I tell everyone I know who is coming to this area they have to make a reservation here and to be sure to check out the sunset from their view! It’s breathtaking!

This place needs a reservation to get in, and it’s pretty nice as it has 3 floors of a fancy mining theme. The food is absolutely delicious, even though the price is really high. The servers were definitely awesome though!

We loved it. The NY strip was cooked perfectly med rare and the lamb was amazing. We especially loved the appetizers…dates stuffed with filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The drinks were very good too with their twist on classics. Would definitely recommend. The meals were comparable to top notch steak houses in all the big cities. But, the atmosphere of the old mining towns makes for a unique experience. It was a treat to find such a place in tiny Pagosa springs!

Immaculate. Definitely a Michelin Star worthy experience. I would travel from the depths of the universe to have this again. This would be my death bed meal. Just trying to express HOW freaking good this place is because it was Hands Down the best steaks (both the filet and ribeye) I have ever had in my life. Every mouth full was a shock to the flavor buds, from the salad and canned corn bread to the carrots. (We ate EVERY drop of salad, bread, an 8oz filet a giant ribeye with sides AND a peach cobbler) and holy wow, I could eat it again and again! Jaw dropping what these 2 young brothers have created together. If you’re looking for a true Colorado feel with a delicious meal beyond worth every penny, look no further, I won’t even spoil how freaking neat the atmosphere is. It needs to be experienced because no 5 stars could do this justice.

Ole Miner’s Steakhouse was such a fun experience! Fun old gold miners set up & memorabilia. The menu was small but full of delicious choices! Speciality meats & wonderful sides & salads. First course options included escargot . Amazing cuts of beef, quail, salmon, & chops-lamb & pork. The salmon was delicious. The quail was amazing. Peach cobbler with ice cream was perfect!
