It was a total coincidence I visited here. The place I was going to was closed because of a holiday so I thought I would try The Lantern. It has a nice architectural presence and as i was going in Boston’s More Than a Feeling was playing. In fact the atmosphere including the music was the best. I had the chicken hibachi (that is included in my photos). I really like this place and I authentically think it is a 5 star spot. The waitress told me they have been here a year (it’s 2023). And I hope they are successful. Check this place out.

The sushi and hibachi were both delicious. We loved their ginger dressing on the house salads. We order mixed drinks, beer, sushi, and hibachi. The Vegas roll and Surf n turf roll were 10/10 I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating! This was our first time coming but the atmosphere, service and food were all worth coming back for! We both got house salads with ginger dressing and hibachi steak, again, 10/10 recommend! You will not be disappointed

Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical to hear about sushi coming to this small town–immediately, mind goes to spicy mayo, eel sauce and cream cheese covered everything but nope! Every thing is super fresh and the fish is able to shine. So happy to have this little gem closer to home. We really enjoy Lantern – we’ve visited 3 times and have enjoyed each experience. The hibachi and sushi are great. The vegetable tempura dish is also great. My favorite is the salad with ginger dressing. Each time we’ve experienced a reasonable wait time for food; the service staff is very attentive during this period. I recommend going when you have time to sit and enjoy the company you’re with, rather than when you are in a hurry.

The sushi, the hibachi chicken, steak, and shrimp, and the sake were all AMAZING!!! The atmosphere is great and the restaurant itself is super cute! It was over $100 for 3 of us to eat but the quality of the food made it worth it. Portion for the hibachi were a little smaller than other places but again quality was on point. Our server was awesome he used to work for the girls I was there with and he was amazing at serving! We will definitely be returning many more times!
