This was only our second time eating here, the first time we sat outside and this time we sat inside. The inside smells incredible, and the atmosphere is great, too. Our server, Vanessa, was super nice and welcoming and I would love to have her again. The Collard greens are OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS, I couldn’t get enough of them. I got the smoked turkey salad and I ate every last bite. I can’t wait to come back and try other menu items, and more collard greens. Did I mention the Collard greens are delicious? Get them. GET THEM.

We had dinner out with my husband’s mom, and we had such a wonderful experience! Alex, our server, made the entire visit. He was attentive, kind, considerate, friendly and everything in between. Literally one of the best servers we’ve ever had and just so incredibly wonderful. The food was also delicious, the table and restaurant were clean, and everyone was so nice. This spot is straight up fire, being from South Texas I was weary of trying out some Detroit BBQ but this place did not disappoint, we started off with some burnt pork bellies that were not burnt they cooked just right in a amazing bbq sauce. We also tried the pig candy that was so sweet, you can see the cooked sugar on the bacon. Then I had the Boss sandwich with a side of chilli cheese grits that hit that spot. I highly recommend this BBQ

The weather was perfect this evening. The rain was over, sun shining and the temp dropped from too hot to fabulous. We rolled in a few minutes after 8 and were able to sit outside and enjoy this beautiful evening. Lindsay greeted us and provided excellent service. Some waitresses would give you the eye for coming in 45 minutes before close. Lindsay was engaging, efficient and a great waitress.

We came in for a late lunch and sat at the bar. Sam took excellent care of us. Our drinks were wonderful and our food came out with perfect timing. Pig Candy and Southwest Bisque to start. Meat platter with Sweet Potato Mash and Cole Slaw for our main course. We will definitely be back.
