Cool place to chill especially if you’re trying to hang out a little late. Only 1 pool table, maybe they are just starting and that’s cool. I only ordered one drink(it was ok)and the Brown Stew chicken, cabbage, rice and peas meal .. LISTEN it was good . I told them that I’ll be back!!

Cabbage taste like water, rice was horrible. This isn’t a true Jamaican restaurant. I’m from New York City so I know definitely. Taste of pa. Is wayyyyyyh better. Don’t waste your time and money. Prices over rated and they not friendly.

Food was cold, and bland, I had brown steel chicken, and my wife had jerk chicken. Wife’s food taste the same as mine with cold BBQ sauce added to the top. Service was great. Owner has a fun personality. And took my food to the microwave.

I’m pretty sure they will be gone soon..thought it was just an oversight that I requested rice and peas but still received white rice until I saw in reviews it’s common practice…brown stew had an off taste..nothing like Jamaican brown stew..mac and cheese looked and tasted like Stouffers that had been stretched with water…my daughter called it water cheese and compared it to school lunch…I feel for the authentic Jamaican cuisine scene here in Rocky Mount…either curry with no potato ,rice and peas with not one pea, or so called escovitch done with damn tilapia fillets..

This place is awesome! Good atmosphere, good people and good food! The owners & staff are very pleasant, professional and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food very flavorful. I am only giving 4 stars because I couldn’t get the dish I was craving due to the low popularity of it. So people let’s expand our palates and order those specialty dishes and patronize these respectful business owners so they don’t disappear like the other great places here in Rocky Mount. Oh and if yall are worried about the prices…trust me the servings match the prices. Hope to see y’all there.
