This restaurant is located inside the Post, near the back left of the dining area. I ordered from them for the first time this past weekend and was very happy with what I ordered. I was looking for a gluten-free dish (which there aren’t very many of despite the numerous restaurants at the Post), so I ended up at Hawker. They offer a good variety of food for people with dietary restrictions, including a couple of vegan dishes. I ended up getting one of their vegan dishes: coconut rice with eggplant and curry sauce. It was delicious. However, I probably would get mild spice instead of medium if I ordered this again. (People who have a high tolerance for spice would probably like the medium.) On top of this, they have very expedient service. They text you when your order is ready and my order did come out rather quickly, especially compared to some of the other places. Overall, it was a good experience.

Cool food court – the food was however just ok. Maybe it was just the cook at that day (same guy taking orders and cooking), but doesn’t deserve 5 stars for me. Also for the price $22 for a platter – feels a bit too much for a street food style platter imo

Another concert at 713 Music Hall so another stop at the POST Market for some food before the show and decided to try Hawker due to the excellent reviews.

I’m almost certain there are laws preventing this. When you think about, running a legitimate business and the types of risks one is willing to take, this seems like the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Solid option for anyone eating at The Post. The Hawker Chicken Wings were huge and had a great crunchy texture, but could’ve used a little more flavor on top of just the actual spice. The Chicken Tikka Masala main dish was fantastic. Every component was equally great and the overall bite really came together well, especially with the cheddar roti!

Their food tastes and smells incredible! It was so good I forgot to take a picture They have some very interesting and delicious flavor combinations that easily make their food crave-able. Hawker is probably the most creative food place in the POST Houston food hall; I recommend trying it out, especially if you’re tired of eating the ‘same old same old’. Service can be a bit slow, even when you’re the only person ordering, but I guess that just means they’re making it fresh.

Tried their vegan bowl at the POST. Food was fresh and delicious. I’d definitely eat it again and recommend to others. They put coconut milk on their rice, which is amazing!

One of the best fusion cuisine I’ve ever tried. Food was well balanced and impressive. Must try “meat platter- a complete package for me” lasaña and the the best “tikka masala and beef brisket”.. Staff will really give you idea about what they offer and you will really enjoy it.

The food is uh-mazing. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, rich, spicy, mouth watering. The fusion of their menu items can’t be beat. Do yourself a favor and order everything. You’ll want to try it all. Including the secret menu 😉 The service is friendly, fast and genuine, shout-out to Corinna for the most delicious experience of the new year!
